Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

Viking Lady

By spotogspindel | March 24, 2009

For Eidesviks supplyship I have been working in a new technique. I have printed the motives on wood, and then partly painted over it again. The structure in the wood still shines through, and gives it a dreamy feel.

Below are two of the pictures adorning the mess onboard. Both are photoshoped photos printed on canvas. Since the project-manager of the ship wanted the theme for all the pictures to be “Family”, I have concentrated on portraits on this project. Portraits of people of different ages. And I am very pleased with the result, if I have to say so myself. The pictures in the mess express an almost sacred calmness, while the cabin-pictures printed on wood are dreamy
