Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

treasures in the mail

By spotogspindel | May 14, 2009

Don´t you just hate it, when you´ve been working on something for hours, and then you make one small mistake, and you have to do the whole job all over again?!

BUT:

I had the most wonderful snail-mail-day. My postbox had 8(!) packages in it! (And only one bill 🙂 ) That has just never happened before! And the fun things it hid!

Lots of Selvedge-magazines, some Cloth, Paper, Scissors, Artful Blogging, and a book on Transparent Art.

And of course the wonderful treasures from Hannah Grey Curiousities and Drygoods: hand-spun fibers, mini seahorses, and mini-mini starfish, and porkquepine-needles and beetle-wings. I just have to show you:

I can hardly wait to use them in pictures. Not at all sure how I can use the beetle-wings, but I thought they were just too beautiful to leave behind. Maybe I can use them on my next passport-purse?
