The Prague Quadrennial
By spotogspindel | July 13, 2019
I first heard of the Prague Quadrennial a couple of decades ago, my baby-sister was there when she studied costume-design, but I had never been. This year, I decided it was time!
It was a wonderment of lectures, exhibitions, national pavilions, workshops, talks …. And sustainability was clearly becoming a topic which more and more theatre-people were aware of and wanted to actively do something about. I met my phd-supervisor, the founder of Eco-scenography, Tanja Beer, and got to know her a bit. And a whole group of eco-scenographers from all over the world met and connected. It´s always a special thing when you meet kindered spirits you´ve communicated with for year via email, and finally you meet them face to face.
There were awesome exhibitions and pavilions, for more photos, visit my Instagram.
How lucky am I, to be traveling with my very own lighting-designer?!
