Summer sequin silk top

By spotogspindel | February 13, 2011

I made this beautiful silk and sequin top  a few years ago for a show. Unfortunately it was never used, and it´s been lying around unused waiting for the perfect owner and the occasion. I can totally see a summer bride wear this with a long, slim silk skirt. Or a big, fluffy tulle skirt.

The fabric is delicate silk chiffon, with embroidered down matte, square sequins. The inside is a thicker silk fabric, woven in a beautiful texture. And when I say silk, I always mean 100% real, pure, natural silk.

The front is decent and lovely, the back is open and sexy. Even thought the back is very open, the fit is very good, and it shapes itself beautifully around the body.

Wow, I sound like a real seller now, don´t I? Well guess what, it is for sale. Check my Etsy if you´re interested. 😉 If not, go enjoy life while arting!

It’s really beautiful! Wish I were a skinny young thing who could wear it!

I am so long overdue in getting back here and perusing! I’m smitten by that velvet book with the key you have on Etsy!
