Skandi Acergy

By spotogspindel | July 11, 2008

Yesterday was the christening of the biggest offshore construction-vessel in the world! DOFs Skandi Acergy, with room for 140 men, will start working in the Northsea, and then move on around the rest of the world. I am fortunate to have my art onboard this grand ship, and above and below you can see some of the pictures. The first photo is from the library, where a series of pictures with motives from Austevoll is hanging. Every picture has a translation of the poem “On the shores of a thousand islands” (which I have written), in chinese, hindi, thai, russian, rumanian, arabic and english. Thank you so much to those who helped me with the translation!

Det neste foto viser “The doors of opportunity”, som heng i det eine konferanserommet.

The next photo shows “The doors of opportunity” hanging in the conferanceroom.
