Purple alpaca and stars
By spotogspindel | March 18, 2012
Another little jumper for Edvard, my nephew. Thick, purple fair-trade alpaca yarn, hand-dyed and hand-spun, makes the base for this tiny sweater.
I added three stars with white fabric paint and a stamp. They might be a tad big, but they do add some fun to the otherwise very plain sweater.
It truly is so much fun knitting for a baby. Everything is so tiny, and it takes no time at all to make it. 🙂

Word 🙂
Sewing for babies is likewise fun, because you get to do all the exciting stuff that you have in an adult’s project, but without long seams or endless rows of stockinette in between. Plus, it takes less material, i.e., less money 😉
