Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

painting teachers-to-be

By spotogspindel | January 27, 2011

A new group of teachers-to-be are deep into their reply-painting project. Here´s a glimpse of a few works-in-progress.

Kristin is painting Munch´s Madonna in a very pregnant version.

Another Munch-picture in a brighter and cheerier mood being painted by Rebekka.

Rebecca is making a Face-book-profile for Mona Lisa… 🙂

And Inger Marie is working on a snowy landscape bathed in light.

It´s a difficult task, making your version as a reply to a well-known painting from art-history, but such a tempting challenge. When I have a little more time, I´m very tempted to try something similar myself. Well, maybe I should finish all the angels on the back-drop first… 🙂
