More woolen delight
By spotogspindel | February 28, 2010
We´ve officially made a record on the islands, of the longest period of snow without rain in between. Every now and then it snows some more, and we still have about 30-40 cm.
Anyway. With all this snow, one needs to keep warm. And for the first time in quite a while, I´ve found my old knitting pins and put them to use. I started with this sweater in January, knitting only a bit while watching the evening news. It doesn´t take long to knit with such thick tread, but because I make the pattern as I go along, I sometimes have to undo a bit. And here it is. It´s big, it´s chunky, it´s 100% alpaca, it´s a bit 40s inspired, and above all: it´s warm! So let it snow! I´m warm = I´m happy!
