Miss Saigon and the ricefields
By spotogspindel | May 22, 2009
This weekend is the second rehearsal-weekend for the ensemble of Miss Saigon. So the day has pretty much been a meeting day for me, finalizing the costume-designs with the director and the head of the makers. It´s going to be such an event, with so many talented people both on and behind the stage. It would have been a great weekend joining the sewing-crew, but I am going to Oslo for the lovebirds-wedding. (The lovebirds-wedding dress) Which will also be great! Hopefully I will have time for some fabric-shopping. We´re gonna need lots of seventies costumes, and some of the fabric they used then is really hard to get hold of today. Feel free to give me tips on where I can find shiny suit-fabric in or original seventies clothing.
Anyway. Here is another picture in the Eastern poetry-series. The Ricefields. I really enjoyed making these, and want to make lots more in the series.
