Marvelous Mindy!

Mindy Lacefield is the artist behind Tim´s Sally. I´ve been lucky enough to meet her a couple of times at Artfest, and she is a true delight to be around. Always with a smile and a catching creative inspiration surrounding her. She´s finally released her very own book, after being published is several magazines. And lucky me: I´ve got a signed copy!

And since it´s Halloween today, I´ll share one of her monsters! Isn´t it the most adorable little creature?!
My own attempt at a Mindy-style portrait. I really like the way she plays with colors in her shading & highlighting. And of course her total freedom is creating! As you can see, I have a long way to go to achieve the same wild surrender into creating! 😉
