lampshade
By spotogspindel | August 26, 2013
My friend with the Indian-inspired room stopped by yesterday with a plain, old lampshade she wanted to give a mini-make-over.
Using a piece of silk brocade and spray-on glue, it was done in five minutes. (So fast, I didnt have time to photograph the beginning)
We sprayed the glue on the shade, carefully wrapped the silk around it, and cut away excess fabric. Leaving about 2 cm extra both top and bottom, to wrap around the edges.
Five minutes well spent! 🙂
