Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

And  talking of painting wooden things…: Here´s what Nina and I did the night before getting started on all her cabinets.

I had a couple of wooden serving plates, found at a charity shop, that I think was a little outdated and dreary in the colors. The wood itself is a good quality balsa. (These are the colors used in almost all Norwegian interiors in the late 80s/early 90s. Since the mid-90s everything changed to white. Either minimalistic or later shabby-chic)

Well, I played around with my acrylics, and brightened it up a bit. I think it looks a lot more cheerful now! It´s like begging for a garden picnic with homemade lemonade, don´t you think? 😀
