Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

Etsy-girls

By spotogspindel | August 8, 2010

I know, I know… once again I am being incredibly childishly excited.

I´ve posted a couple of originals on my Etsy-shop, and when they show up on the recently added items, I get such a thrill. I´ve never had a “shop” before, hence the excitement.

This is the “The Tea-time girl”. A 10×10 cm (4×4 inches) textile applique/ freestyle machine-embroidery picture on a wooden frame. I had to call her The Tea-time girl, because she simply adores Oriental Oranges-tea.

The next girl waiting in line to be introduced is called the Hunter because she decided to wear her hunting-hat for her picture. And as she´s a strong-minded lady, I had no choice but to let her have her way… I´m not sure what she hunts, but I learned today that deer-hunting season begins September 10th. I honestly can´t picture her with a rifle in her hands though, so maybe her hat is just a show-off.

So back to the beginning about me being childish. I choose to look at it like I´m just really excited about life and all the possibilities that lie there awaiting!

Wish you all a wonderful Sunday!
