Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

Designing the day

By spotogspindel | August 17, 2011

I do tend to procrastinate whenever I am about to draw, so I had to tidy and clean my workroom first. Water all the flowers. Dust. Vacuum. Write a couple of e-mails. Check pinterest. Organize a cupboard with plates… (anyone else good at postponing like that?)

Well, now the rest of the family has left for a Rihanna-concert, so the house is all quiet until tomorrow and I´m having a quiet day of concentrated designing. Sketching, drawing, looking at fabric-swaps, piecing together all my impressions of 1926 into ensemble-costumes for Amanda. There will be around 50 people on stage, and even more costumes. It´s going to take some time to get it all designed, so it´s good to get started.

I can´t show you anything of what I´m doing until it´s all done unfortunately. But I can share with you this awesome sign I found online and which is now my new motto! :

Ahh she who never rests? 🙂 Another ship? A whole fleet.? Good on you,! Ohh I never procrastinate, for me the moment is too fleeting anyway. Except when doing my tax and opening damn#$$$%$ letters, I hate that and so procrastinate for an eternity 🙂

    see you
I will be scarce for a while, and then not I hope
    take care!
