Celebrating the International Taco-day!
By spotogspindel | June 8, 2010
First you start by inviting your friends and neighbors over. It´s easy to think you can just invite people over for the weekend, but people need food in the middle of the week too, so a Tuesday is perfect for company!
I wanted to make real lemonade. You simply don´t get that in Norway, there wasn´t even a recipe for it in my cook-book. So I went online, and found the perfect recipe:
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon-juice
1 cup sugar
4 cups of water
Pretty easy to remember, and SUPER-YUMMY!!! I´m gonna be making more of this, that´s for sure!
I cooked the meat last night, so today it was just the vegetable-cutting to do. I used my hammock from Guatemala as a table-cloth to set the mood.
We found some Soul Bossanova and some Sergio Mendes music, covered the roof-terrace with kelim-rugs and big pillows, and just enjoyed!
Did you remember to celebrate the international taco-day? If you didn´t, I think you can cheat a little bit, and pretend it´s next week, and just celebrate then 🙂 It´s a highly recommended way to get to know your new neighbors for instance.
