By spotogspindel | July 6, 2019
The second summer-school for CASE – Creativity, Arts and Science in Primary Education is back in Marathonas, Greece.
This year with four workshops: Learning Science through Puppetry (aboe they are making their puppets), Learning science through theatre, learning science through slowmation (stop-motion) and learning science through digital storytelling.
Together and in groups, the participants made an outline of the story, which was connected to this years GSO scientific topic gravity.
The making of a short-film above with easy equipment.
I managed to sneak in an afternoon-workshop in eco-design, where the participants made site-specific land-art installations on the beach. Their inspiration was to visualise the solar-eclipse.
After four days of intense work, the audience was invited to the premiere of “Fall in love with gravity”.
The crab is the main character that guides us through a story of love, jealousy , Greek mythology and hard-core science.
