My friend Amalie got married this weekend. So this days creative input is a bit different than usual. I am not known for being creative in the kitchen, but this night I learned something new 🙂

Friday night Amalies brides-maid invited to a different kind of last-minute bachelorette-party. She booked a gourmet-chef, bought lots of food, and invited us all to learn to cook vegetarian dishes. Since the bride is a vegetarian, we no longer had any good excuses for not inviting her for delicious dinners. Below you see part of the chaos of 20 people making 20 dishes in 1 small kitchen.

Below the bride is helping the gourmet-chef in making aioli. Or is it him helping her?

And here is Hege and I, very proud of finally mastering making pasta.

We made the longest tagliatelle ever! We like to think so anyway. And it tasted delicious!

A great idea for a different kind of party. Occupying lots of people for three hours making great food, and then eating it. What a fun evening!

I just have to show a picture from the wedding too. The bride is the theatre-director in Haugesund, and a trained actor/singer/dancer/director, but it is not often you get brides who perform in their own wedding on stage like this! Singing “Seasons of love” from RENT with some of her musical-friends. She is a rare gem, and so talented in all she does.
