Monday, March 31st, 2014Today is the grand opening of my exhibition: Family-life in the lighthouses. The touring exhibition started in Lindesnes Lighthouse, Norway´s most southern tip of land. Thursday, March 27th, 2014Getting ready for the big opening of my exhibition on Sunday. I arrived Lindesnes today, with a big, wooden box filled with pictures. “Family-life in the light-houses” is the name of the exhibition, and the next couple of days, we´ll be working to get everything ready.
Viking Athene
Monday, March 24th, 2014Viking Athene is an Eidesvik ship, Christened in 2006. I hand´t any photos from this ship until the Chief Officer sent me some today. I rarely use pastels in my color-scheme, but made an exception here. Flowers in Paris
Thursday, March 6th, 2014This week´s adventure includes making a Parisian flower-stand, overflowing with beautiful flowers, sold at a fraction of the normal price. Why? AirFrance is promoting their new direct flight from Stavanger to Paris. And what is better than springtime in Paris? Even Ella Fitzgerald sings about it: “I love Paris in the springtime”. I just had […]
Set the sails
Saturday, March 1st, 2014Today´s little creative project: sail-painting. I was asked to paint the logo of a local firm on a couple of miniature sails for this model wooden boat. The boat is a completely handmade replica of an “Oselvar” a regional version of the rowing boat. The logo is hand painted, freestyle, with fabric paint.
