Wednesday, February 13th, 2013One more tip for cheering oneself up in winter: dig your fingers in some paint! I´ve been painting today, with my fingers, sponges, stamps, layered acrylics on watercolor paper, making backgrounds Giving them names like “mellowyellow”, “palepeace”, “jealousyellous”, “gloomygreenish” and “circlecircledotdotdot” 🙂 Now I´ll go put them to use!
medicine for winter-blues
Tuesday, February 12th, 2013Not that I have any winter-blues! But still, I couldn´t help but to smile when I went to my mailbox today and found this bright and cheerful envelope: And I just have to share it with you, so that you can take this brilliant idea and share with others. Inside was a big card with […]
the little house on the prairie
Monday, February 11th, 2013Todays achievement? Framing a dozen pictures, some office-work, learning how to spell “prairie” :-), some looking-for-inspiration-for-some-new-pictures-work… I called this picture “The little house on the prairie”, inspired by Laura Ingall´s books. My main theme is snow and ice, but I wanted to focus on the arctic wildlife in general and see if I could somehow add in a little global warming issue into the visual decoration. I started by making a stamp of a polar bear. It´s about […]
at the theatre
Friday, February 8th, 2013I´m working on a newly written youth-piece called “Kim leker” (Kim plays). It´s a DUS-project, which is a annual, national project where authors are challenged to write drama for youth. The best pieces are rewarded by being staged by dozens of youth-theatre groups all around the country. I am lucky enough to be working on […]

Monday, February 4th, 2013February 2013
Sunday, February 3rd, 2013February´s picture is of an old, but still useable boat. A former ferry, I think, now used more for freight. You don´t really see a lot of purple boats around here, and it was the color that immediately spoke to me. When the boat itself was bumpy and rusty from a long-lived life at sea, […]
