19- tree and giveaway

Yesterday was the big Christmas-tree-picking-day! The whole family travelled to a neighboring island, to find the finest trees in the land. This is my brother-in-law with their tree. Mine can almost be seen behind the camera.

For the final Advent goody give-away, I thought I´d give one of you a bread-bag. I make these in 50% linen/ 50% cotton, the motif is silk-screened on, with text from “On the shores”, and one of the 1004 islands in Bømlo. (Bread not included 😉

Learn how to play Silent Night on the piano.
If you don´t have a piano, learn to play it on the guitar. If you don´t have a guitar, learn all the verses by heart and sing it. This way you can really chime in, on Christmas eve.

My wish for the new year — wow, I have so many. I am always amazed when I find that I can still feel hopeful, I hope that will always be true. I wish for people to be more sensible, more protective of the earth. I wish for health and basic needs for my family and, really, for all of us. I wish for loving relationships. So many wishes — I need to do what I can to make them come true!
