I used slightly watered down acrylic, painted it on and wiped it back off with a rag. Not sure which brown, van dyck brown maybe. Try different tones on a piece of paper first to be sure you like it.

This has always been such a Janne-ish part of your kitchen.. How did you stain the labels? What did you use? I love the way they look – all antique-like!
