the pink oilfield

By spotogspindel | August 22, 2012

If there ever was any doubt… my days are varied! This week I´ve been working on a big, pink oilfield!

The model is going on a stand at one of the largest offshore industry-shows in the world, situated in Stavanger. It´s a commissioned piece, and it took a surprising amount of plastering, sanding a several layers of paint to finish.

Why pink? Apparently pink is a geological code for sand… one always learns something new 😉
