the Mamma Mia concert

We´ve been rehearsing all weekend, memorizing text, humming melodies, and last night we filled the culture-house with audience for our own version of the ABBa-songs. Not the musical, not the movie, but the story of a young girl from Bjødledalen falling in love with a muscular Mexican…
Our host, the beautiful, young girl from Bjødledalen, and the fiery Mexican, who also happens to be a wonderful choir-conductor, practicing their tango backstage.

How do you measure if a concert or a show is a success?
If the audience is clapping and smiling, they could like it, or they could be very polite. If they give you compliments after the show, I think they probably like it. But if a random group of people leave their name and number at the ticket-office after the show, insisting on being contacted before the next project, THAT is pretty cool!
Linda with our new “Success-o-meter” 🙂

That is so fun! Congratulations. I wish you lived closer. I love theater. I would love to have been in the audience. So do you sing + perform too?!? or did you do costumes?
