The disillusioned romantic

My latest oil-painting, where I am trying out different shades of skin-colors. I´ve called it “The disillusioned Romantic”, and she would be totally lost and disillusioned even without her broken blue heart. Poor, naive(-istic) thing.

    I really like the experimental skin tones! I think one of the best things about painting is that it makes you aware of so many more color nuances… especially those subtle complements lurking in the shadows…
