The Cardamon city tram

I´ve shared with you that I have been working on the set-design for Bømlo Teater´s “Cardamon City”. While I´ve been in Provence, some of the carpenters in the theatre have been busy building my designs. And now that I´m back, it´s time for me to get busy too 🙂

Here is one of the original illustration of the tram by Torbjørn Egner (the author of the book):

And here is my design, newly built.

There´s a little opening in the roof, so the kids can climb up and sit in the “second story”.

Didn´t take more than a couple of hours to get the first layer of red.

Tomorrow I´ll continue with the black and white interior. Yay! Painting is fun!
