Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

the BIG mitten

By spotogspindel | February 20, 2015

Two actor-friends are making a children´s show of the fairytale of The Lost Mitten. I´ve helped them out a bit with making a pattern, cutting and partly sewing the sheep-skins together. The leather is soft, but sewing it together, is quite demanding, so we took turns at it. We used skins from 3 sheep on this mitten, so you can see, it´s quite big! There room in here for a mouse, a fox, a rabbit, a frog and a bear! 😉

It has been so cold here, I’d like one of those to crawl into myself! 🙂
