the Austevoll exhibition

By spotogspindel | September 2, 2012

Seahouses from Austevoll. Photocollage printed on canvas, and two metal-collages.

Yesterday was the opening of my new art-exhibition at Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri in Austevoll.

Unfortunately I couldn´t attend, as I was on a plane on my way to Provence. (Oh no!!  😉 )

I spent all Friday at the gallery, getting everything ready and in place. Here are a few pictures from this unique gallery, which used to be an old general store.

Five old wooden boats…. on canvas. All my photo-collages for this exhibition are mixed with acrylic paint, collaged digitally.

This is from the second floor, a mix of photo-collages printed on canvas and brushed aluminum, metal-collages on oxidized copper and brass, and three textile girly-girls.

And on the first floor, my new pictures, especially made for this exhibition, all with motifs from Austevoll. Photo collages printed on canvas and brushed aluminum.

I have over 40 pieces here, 20 of them brand new, made especially for this exhibition.
