Seattle- antiques

By spotogspindel | April 14, 2011

Tyler and I on an exploration tour in Seattle, looking at antiques and art-supplies.

The antique-malls here are huge! This is Pacific Galleries. This shows the almost the full length of the room one way, the other is longer. So what would you like, huh?

This beautiful quilt made from silk cigar-labels.

Or a ball used in the nr.1 sport in the USA!

How about silver plates?

Or these dreamy mannequin-heads from Old Hollywood!?

An old post-office mailbox-cupboard. Wouldn´t it be great for storing art-supplies?

And talking of art… how about giving your old oil-paintings new life, by turning them onto sofa-cushions?! Don´t have one, you can get it here.

Not to forget, adorable metal toy sewing-machines, these are both made in the USSR.

Me, what do I want? I just want one thing of all the thousands of antiques. A big, sign, that would both make heat, brighten and decorate my living room:

This is just beyond cool if you ask me! Unfortunately, it´s too big for my suitcase (it´s  about 6 feet high. The sign, not my suitcase)
