photo-fun by the sea

By spotogspindel | April 21, 2011

Easter is family-time, and I made sure to bring all my toy-cameras with me to the sea-house today. Jumping, running, laughing and posing. The toy-cameras have film that needs to be developed, so I don´t know yet how things turned out.

However, I borrowed Karoline´s macro+fisheye-lenses for trying out on my digital EOS, and had a lot of fun playing around with these.

My nephew fishing for sea-shells.

Maximum width on the lense gives the dark corners. Really liking that!

But of course the macro-function is pretty cool too. All of a sudden I can get as close as 2 inches (5 cm) from the object.

Another experiment. Attaching the macro+fisheye to my zoom-lens, pushing it all the way out to 250 mm. And in broad, clear day-light, the picture becomes very hazy, as if there was a fog. Not traditionally a success, but if I was making a ghost-movie perhaps…
