Penny Penguin
By spotogspindel | January 23, 2013
Penny the Penguin was born yesterday. Or conceived, I don´t know which is better. And tonight she´s finished. Another freehand machine embroidery Polar animal. This time the South pole.

Adding pieces of fabric and tulle onto stiffened, black velvet. She´s about 20×23 cm (8×9 inches).

A million stitches later….

And Penny is here! Her eye is the only part not embroidered, but only has the black velvet, apart from the two small white, sewn dots to illustrate the reflection in her eyes.

The penguin and the polar bear are both fabulous! And wow! You’ve certainly been busy since I last popped in!

Alt du kan! *imponert*! Kan man bruke en vanlig Husquarna-maskin eller må man ha fancy-brodere-maskin??

You don´t need a special machine. My Bernina is an ordinary mechanical one, no fancy electronics here!
