Passport-pocket
By spotogspindel | August 9, 2010
My little creative weekend project (which only takes about half-an-hour) was making this little passport-pocket. I´ve seen several different versions in shops, but thought I wanted to make a personalized one.
The front includes an old map of Bergen, which is the biggest, close city, and another one of the west-coast with my little island on it. The back I guess is even more personal, since there´s a picture of the beholder…
If you want to make your own, make sure it´s about 3/4 cm longer than your passport is, lying out. It needs the extra length when you fold it. Mine is 13,5 x 8 cm. I made the collage in Photoshop, printed it on an iron-on transfer-paper, which I in return ironed on to white cotton. Folded the sides in (front side in) and sewed in place.
