Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

Painting with Brian

By spotogspindel | September 16, 2012

This weekend I´ve been hosting a paint-workshop for Bømlo Art Group, with artist Brian Wallace  as a teacher. We´ve been wanting to host workshops for years, and finally we got the show on the road!

And we had such a blast! Here, Brian is in the middle of one of his show-and-tells.

My main challenge was making food for 14 people! 😉 But I did manage to sneak in a couple of small paintings.

First the lighthouse where we were supposed to be but couldn´t due to bad weather. Slåtterøy is way north-west in Bømlo. Acrylic on wood.

These old sea-houses where in the evening-sun in a dark pine-forrest, and I exaggerated both the warmth in the house-colors and the darkness of the woods.

Two different pictures, two different styles, two different moods…

Thank you guys for a wonderful weekend! Such an inspiring gang of painters! I had such a great time! 😀
