More IF: Skinny & creative night

By spotogspindel | November 2, 2009

My very creative friend, Amiti, came over last night, and together we had a great time painting. She was working in her journal, and I took the time to paint my very skinny-legged bird that I made a week ago. He is made from DAS-clay, and was ready to come to life. He looks a bit scared, maybe even a bit angry. You think he´s blaming me for giving such skinny legs to a guy who´s afraid of heights?

Introducing Dwight, the long-legged, dot-bellied tweedy-bird.

Ops! A little unstable on the long legs? Or maybe he´s just hungry…

He´s definitely begging for food here. The more dots on the belly, the older the bird.

He may be scared of heights, but he´s got a lovely singing voice none-the-less.

It must be hard to be afraid of heights if you’re a bird… poor Dwight. I hope he gets therapy soon!

    Beautiful, expressive creature!

Wonderful textures and work. Very inspiring to make something in real 3d, rather than my usual pretene 3d :)
