Janne Robberstad

Welcome to my site! I work as a costume-designer and an artist, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

mint-turquise

By spotogspindel | October 7, 2009

Brasilia

The color of the day is mint-turquoise. The mix between those two colors. I just bought paint for the guest-bedroom in this color. and of course it is the main color in my artwork that I am working on. Painting backgrounds, adding all sorts of stuff. Tearing apart an old atlas, going through my postage-stamp collection, picking apart old jewelry, mixing in metal mesh and old game-pieces. So far, lots of fun, but I hope I have enough ephemera (is that really what it´s called?) for all the pictures I need to make for the ship and the exhibition. Oh, I haven´t mention that, have I ?!

I´ll tell you more about it soon ;-)
