Welcome to my site! I work as a costume-designer and an artist, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

Kulturveko

By spotogspindel | September 7, 2010

Every now and then I do a bit of graphic work. Mainly for myself, but sometimes for others too. This is a logo I made for an event called The Culture-week, to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our culture house.

Bømlo Culture Network is the name of the organization that is putting together a full week of events for the celebration: music, dance, theatre, art-exhibitions, a book-bath, more concerts, talks, and cinemas. The program is about to be released.

I wanted the logo to include as much as possible of all these activities. Gathered together, with the culture-house as the centre (although only symbolized as a big dot. But a very central dot!), and then spreading out, as I believe that creativity breeds more creativity.

The ochre color is based on a decorative wall of the building itself.
