Kjopholmen sightseeing

Spring is here (well, if you look at the calendar it SHOULD be here). Time for a little sightseeing to Kjøpholmen.

It´s the little island you can see slightly right of the middle of the above picture. This is where the big art-in-nature project will take place in hopefully not so long. You can read about it HERE. 

Filling part of the naked rock faces of the southern part of the island with copper coins. Crazy idea? Well, click on the link above, and read the very fascinating story behind this project. I mean, this part of our history, nearly forgotten, could easily have changed the world completely.

The first coin is in place!

(actually I dropped it in a little crack and couldn´t get it back out again…)
