This is Karoline. She had her confirmation this weekend. It was such a good family get-together, close to 30 guests, and don´t you think she held her own speech! She´s so talented and sweet, and I am so proud of her!!

She´s wearing her new “bunad”, the national costume of Norway. There are lots of different kinds, her´s is from the eastern part of Telemark.

Everything is handmade, it´s a huge job. Especially all the white-on-white embroider you might be able to see on the shirt.

Så nydelig bunad Karoline har! Klart, jeg har jo vest-telemarks bunad sjøl, så jeg er kanskje litt lite subjektiv? 😉
