Journal-inspiration!
By spotogspindel | November 2, 2009
If you ever thought that you wanted to make a journal, but didn´t know exactly how to get started or what to do, here is a very easy step-by-step how-to. And it´s even free.
The incredibly inspiring Teesha Moore just posted a video-series on her blog on how to make a journal. She takes you through all the steps from making the actual booklet, painting it, adding collage and penwork, and then writing.

It was by seeing her artwork in the book True Colors that I found her site,
subscribed to her magazines, and got into this whole wacky, wonderful world of mixed media. I find her, and her colorful world very inspiring. My own artwork is very different from hers, but she influences me big time still.
I´ve even attended her big art-retreat Artfest this year, and am going back the coming Easter.
Artfest is also something you might want to consider going to. Lots of artists, lots of amateurs, lots of laughter, lots of fun. I learned new techniques with some excellent teachers, and made some great new friends. I think there are still available places, so check out the workshops.

Wow, I just looked at the video series, and I’m thinking, maybe there’s hope even for those of us who can’t draw or paint? Very inspiring, thanks for the link!
