This week´s homage to lesser known female heros, is to Lillie Hitchcock Coit.
I´d never heard of her before I came to San Francisco, where she raised a memorial-tower in the shape of a fire-hose nozzle to honor of her late husband, the fire-chief of San Francisco. She was a well-known volunteer fire-fighter herself, unheard of in well-to-do Victorian families. It was also unheard of to marry for love, which is exactly what she did. Hence the text.

Intresting the different dimenisonalities you are inco-orporating. Eg linework of the tower, the 3d of the fire and flat cut out of the woman – not to mention the text.
I bet you never heard of “dimenisonalities” before.

Hei Janne!
Takk
Åshild
