I am my own wife!

By spotogspindel | February 20, 2008

“I am my own wife!”

is a Pullitzer- and Tony Award-winning theatre-monologue based on a true story. Since the opening at Broadway, it´s had success all over the world.

The story is about Berlin´s most well-known transvestite, through decades of oppression by both the Nazis and the Communists in Eastern Berlin, and how he survived as a gay and transvestite. On stage Ståle Ytterli gives life to 35 different characters!
