Haavik seahouse

By spotogspindel | November 17, 2010

This sea-house picture I made for one of my steady customers. It will be a gift for a ship on it´s Christening. It´s 50×75 cm, and the motif is from Håvik in Bømlo.

Hey you post quicker than I can look. 🙂
Well as always I love how you have those different elements all joined together – the type, the three dimensional house, the ink of the landscape – makes a gradual transition,

Do you know self reflexive? It’s where the author draws attention to themselves, it adds another dimension. We see into a work, but we also see it’s surface.

Human’s like that. It makes us think.

If you have read :”Sophie’s Choice”? That is self reflexive to the utmost.

Oh I work today, but I still have sand in my right ear from Sunday :0
