Familylife exhibition in Aalesund

By spotogspindel | September 22, 2014

The Family-life exhibition opened at Sunnmøre Museum in Ålesund September 14th. Tone Anda, the museum-curator, has made the most wonderful display!

By adding tables filled with everyday things from the 50s and 60s, it´s a trip down memory-lane. It adds so much to the pictures, when they are placed into a whole of cultural history!

For the opening, Frode Pilskog, the museum´s lighthouse expert, talked about life in the light-houses, both the small, everyday life and in the much bigger picture, as an important part of a nation´s marine industry.

If you live near Ålesund, you are most welcome to visit the museum and the exhibition. It will be there until the end of October.
