Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

My dearest ´s birthday is today. The house is filling up with celebrating family and relatives, and by tonight there´ll be a big party!

Here is the flower-arrangement for the table.

If you know me, you know that I love flowers, and making arrangements like this. The colors this time were a bit unusual, more pastel than I´d normally choose, but hey, it´s summer! Why not be a bit adventurous!?

What is your favorite flower? And can anyone give me tips on what the different flowers here symbolize? I know the rose is love, right? Or is that just red roses? And I´m sure I´ve heard that the olive-branches mean something, I just can´t remember what.

well look at you! you’re just a jack of all creative trades :)- such a pretty flower arrangement you’ve made. I used to be a floral designer myself back in college… I do know these flowers meanings…

Roses have various meanings per their petal color
    ie,) red-love…i love you
    yellow- jealousy, decrease of love
white- innocence & purity or girlhood
    dark crimson-mourning
pink- happiness & please believe me

Way, way…back when, before there were telephones, flowers were sent and by the type of flower and color sent, the recipient would understand the message intended….

so neat! I love flowers! My favorites are; Casablanca Lilies, Tuberose, Gardenia, Red Roses, Peony, and Orchids!
