doilies

When I saw this idea here, I thought it was just great, and want to make one myself.

Here is another doily-idea. This time with paper-doilies, from Becoming Lola and Martha Stewart. Click on the picture, and you get the directions of how-to.

And here is a third option for the really patient, by knitalatte:

Rachel over at Smile and Wave made this very cute pillow-case of doilies:

And I am sure it would look good to do something similar when making a curtain for a window, especially in an older house.
