DIY padded envelope

By spotogspindel | January 10, 2011

This easy how-to is based on Mystele ornament-swap envelope. And it´s too good not to share. So here is an easy way to make personalized envelopes!

First, take some of the scrap-booking sheet paper you have lying around, and cut it to the right size (times to+ a bit extra for the folding). The bubble-wrap is about 1 cm smaller than the paper on each side.

Fold…

… and sew…

… and there you are!

Glue down a contrasting piece of paper for the address. To add to the fun for the receiver,  decorate with stamps and stickers.

Perfect size, and a joy to find in the mail-box!

While I have a sewing machine I am terrified of it! I had to have my daughter come over and show me that it has arrows to guide me when threading it. OK, so this padded envelope looks like something I could try to bolster me confidence.

    Thanks for this freebie
