Christmas is… purple

By spotogspindel | December 3, 2009

Advent is a time of waiting for what is to come. And the color of advent is purple. A vibrant color that stimulates to creativity. And we like that!

First we find the right fabric for a table-cloth. Metal/silk-organza is a big-time favorite!

I´ve put together a center-piece at my living-room table with different purples: a granate-apple, a red cabbage, red onions, grapes. Added some walnuts and arranged them on a purple glass-tray.

I couldn´t find figs this year, they would have been perfect in here!

And don´t forget the candles!

My orchid is once again in bloom, and it fits right in.

Not to mention the decor-cabbage. They almost look like roses.

Now doesn´t that look inviting?!
