Christmas is… making angels in the snow!

I just have to show you this beautiful snow-angel Lisa Mertins made! She makes lots of lovely illustrations, so you should absolutely have a look at her site. Prepare to be inspired!
It´s certainly cold enough here (-10 C) but no snow yet. First sign of it though, let´s all dress up and run out to make angels in the snow. Have you ever made them at night when it´s snowing? Looking up at the dark sky with the snow falling towards you. I´m telling you, it´s special alright!

i’m a 3rd generation california girl so cold and snow are novel to me. though, for a time, i lived in minnesota and that’s what sunk me — i love a good, blanket of white!
but in all honesty, i’m loath to sully a perfect, new snowfall. so it was only after days and days that i’d finally let myself tromp out and make angels.
merry christmas all the way from maddeningly warm southern california
