The School loo

Thursday, May 19th, 2011

Well, what do you know! After years of working back-stage, I´m actually going to be on-stage again! My dear friend and colleague, Runa, is directing a contemporary youth-play in the culture-school with a group of teens. However there was one role left. The role of a middle-aged, conservative and strict, (very) annoying teacher, who bust [...]

Into the woods poster

Saturday, March 5th, 2011

My old folk high school is staging an Into the woods musical, and once again I was asked to make the poster.  The background is a combination of photos I´ve taken of the rain-forrest in Guatemala.

Anne-Britt poster

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

Next week Bømlo Art group opens it´s annual winter-exhibition. This year it´s graphic artist Anne-Britt Lerøy who is invited to show her work. And tradition true, I made the poster. A simple, clean poster to suit her fine lines.

One of my big jobs this spring is working with Fiddler on the roof. The Music-department at Stord High School is staging this classic of a musical in March. I´ve got both costume- and set-design, and am very much looking forward to it! I will start planning the designs already now in December, and started [...]

Spel Johan, spel! poster

Saturday, October 30th, 2010

Yet another poster. This one I made for a local theatre-group about to present a cabaret over the past past 30 years of playful & joyful song, dance, music and acting.

A week filled with culture and art at our local culture house, celebrating the 5-year anniversary, the official opening is today. For program, click here. It includes a design-exhibition and presentation by Trond Atle Næsse, a walk-in-workshop in graphics and a knitting café. And several concerts

We will rock you!

Monday, October 25th, 2010

Here is the poster I made for this fall´s choir-project. We´re working on Queen´s music, and will make a tribute-concert. Personally, I think it´s gonna ROCK!

Exhibition poster for Brian Wallace

Monday, September 27th, 2010

Brian Wallace is such a great painter, and I´m so glad I got to know him! He´s the artist featured in Bømlo Art Group´s annual fall-exhibition. If you live around here, you should absolutely come see his work. And if you don´t live around here, take a virtual tour on his site. The motif in [...]

Kulturveko poster and banner

Friday, September 24th, 2010

The graphics for Kulurveko 2010 (The Culture Week 2010) is just about due, and here is the poster I made for this week full of all sorts of cultural experiences. I also made a banner, that will be in the foyer of the culture-house, as a teaser.
