Camera strap

By spotogspindel | November 21, 2010

Inspired by Michelle´s camera-strap, (she´s got a good tutorial!) I´ve been meaning to make one of my own for quite a while.  And since I now have a new camera, I finally got around to making one!

I have leather on one side, and a mix of silks on the other. Having fun appliqueing  scraps of fabric into a free-style motif with machine-embroidery.

A good snapshot stops a moment from running away.

Another good quote:

You don’t take a photograph.  You ask, quietly, to borrow it. ~Author Unknown

What a beautiful piece of practical art! I love having beautiful objects that are useful, too. They make the most ordinary tasks magical!
