Bergen sightseeing

By spotogspindel | September 10, 2011

Such a rich day! Photo-safari in Bergen, to fill my archive of “raw-material”.

I found the Bounty at quay and visited onboard. Very cool ship, even though it´s just a copy of the real thing. At least it´s been in two of the pirates of the Caribean-movies 😉

When ever I am not satisfied with my proportions when I draw, I will think of this funky-looking guy. It´s an official painting from the 16th century, and now hangs in the Hanseatic museum.

Outside in one of the toll-booths, I found this artist. He´s carving a huge dried fish (!) from a log, around 8 yards/ meters long.
